Students may apply for credit for extended work experience (>10 weeks; full-time) engaging in mechanical engineering work and supervised by an engineer in mechanical engineering (or closely related field). Students should apply through their adviser prior to the work experience. Enrollment is by departmental approval only. Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory only. Prerequisite: consent of the department head.
