Design and fabrication of microcircuits using thick film, thin film, monolithic and hybrid technologies. Semiconductor device models, oxidation, diffusion, epitaxial growth, crystal growth, photo-lithography, packaging, screen printing, thermal curing, device trimming, vacuum techniques and elementary integrated circuit design. Laboratory. Prerequisite: EE 3310 or concurrent enrollment. (Normally offered once a year)
