Focuses on selected specific psychotherapy models relevant tot he advance practice nurse to achieve quality outcomes for individuals, families and groups with psychiatric disorders. Aspects of psychotherapy care are established within a framework of diagnostic reasoning, critical thinking, and clinical judgment to develop and apply comprehensive evidenced based treatment. Prerequisite: NURS 5201, 5220, 5211 or concurrent enrollment with NURS 5211, 5230.
