A capstone course that brings together the role(s) of the advanced practice nurse and the environment(s) in which they practice. Economic, ethical and legal issues related to health policy development are the focus for synthesis in relation to the professional role of the advanced practice nurse for rural nursing practice/leadership. Prerequisite: completion of or concurrent enrollment in all required nursing courses except the final clinical practicum.
